Spire sections lifted to top of One World Trade Center

One World Trade Center will soon become the tallest building in the western hemisphere as the steel sections of the spire are hoisted into position at the top of the tower. The 408-foot (124 meter) spire is divided into eighteen pieces and will take about three months to install. Here's how the local and national press have reported on the news:
